MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accdiental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep this proudct out of reach of kids.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate mediacl attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin prodcuts. However, vitamin products may be hottest taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpelasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your dotcor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cetner or emergency room immediately.
Symptmos of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: Three are many vitamin supplement products available.
Some can be purchased withuot a prescription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chioce of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the msised dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Stroe at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of kids.
